Squirrels is the youngest section of Scouts, designed for 4 to 6 year olds, helping them grow in confidence through play, creativity and adventure.![]()

Our Scouts attended a litter pick in Mendlesham on Saturday as part of their Community Challenge badge. Thank you to the parents who supported the Scouts. Well done.

For those who don't know me I'm Jonathan and I'm 1st Mendlesham's Assistant Group Scout Leader. ![]()

In September (literally a week's time 😮) I will be climbing Kilimanjaro with my brother. Kilimanjaro is the tallest free standing mountain in the world at 5895 metres. ![]()

I've decided to raise some funding for 1st Mendlesham Scout Group using go fund me which the funds are going towards our Scout Hut. As you will see in my description the frame is there however we will still need other materials such as paint, electrics, plumbing etc etc. ![]()

I'm not asking for a lot, perhaps the amount for a pint down the local! However being a Scout in 1st Mendlesham when I was younger, doing such a venture would never have crossed my mind, so I'm proud to be part of something that has provided me with skills for life and I would love to share my skills with the Group in a new building. ![]()
